NoriOS grows release by release. Here is where it stands, and where it is going.

Now

  • Linux and Windows programs, side by side
  • The desktop: launcher, pools, tiling, snapping
  • Files, Settings, the login and lock screens
  • The installer, with a live session to try first
  • Updates without restarting
  • Wi-Fi, sound, NVIDIA graphics, sleep and wake
  • Steam, and Linux games

Next

  • Installing next to Windows
  • Adding NoriOS to the PC's boot menu by itself
  • 32-bit Windows programs
  • Touchpads, laptop sound chips, USB drives
  • More software sources: Arch and Debian
  • A Disks app

  • DirectX, for Windows games
